vines are in an excellently location, on top of a clay-limestone
slope quite close to the medieval village of Saint-Émilion.
Only premium grape varieties are grown: 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet
Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The wine is fermented the traditional way and aged in oak
barrels, half of which are new each year.
